Village 5
Specific Plan

Lincoln, California

Drawing from the rich agricultural history, the Village 5 specific plan creates a vibrant and sustainable 4,785-acre community. Using a mixed-use approach to the community design, we are able to reduce the projected number of average vehicle trips per day. This also provided more opportunities for alternative modes of transportation by placing an emphasis on connecting the community and mixed-use centers with bicycle and pedestrian pathways. Another strategy we used was maximizing the preservation of wildlife corridors along existing ravines. This allowed for natural pathways throughout the community while conserving natural resources and habitats.
