The Kaufman & Davis Plastic Surgery Center in Folsom is a new, two-story surgery center combining modern design and state of the art technology. The shell and interior design of the facility provides a simple but elegant response to the client’s request for a building that incorporates natural materials and sustainable features, including an indoor living green wall spanning almost a full story. The project follows the checklist for LEED standards and includes natural daylighting, indoor air quality and materials and finishes with low/no volatile organic compounds (VOC). This beautiful, high performance building responds well to the needs of the patients and staff.
